What is FLOW?

According to Positive psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi, “FLOW” is a state of mind in which a person becomes fully immersed in an activity. 

Flow is associated with increased happiness, higher intrinsic motivation, greater creativity and better emotional regulation.

Jamie is the founder of Haybales and Barbells, an Equestrian Fitness company who helps riders all over the world become stronger in and out of the saddle. As a Recreation Therapist and Fitness Coach, Jamie utilized the therapeutic benefits of horses and movement to help clients achieve the flow state to enhance their physical, emotional and mental wellness.

Jamie lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her wonderful husband, Keenan, her two rescue dogs Bruin and Kuma, and competes in Region 5 Dressage with her 9 year old Thoroughbred gelding, Koda.
